BREAKING NEWS: The American rapper was shot and killed in Memphis
Adolph Robert Thornton Jr, better known by his alias Young Dolph, was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee while buying cookies at a store.
This was confirmed to Fox13 Memphis by several law enforcement sources.
The shooting occurred at Makeda’s Butter Cookies at around 1:00pm TN, USA.
Maurice Hill, the owner of the store, stated that ‘someone drove up and shot the rapper’.

In early 2017, Young Dolph was targeted in a shooting that occurred in Charlotte, North Carolina.
That same year in September, Dolph was nearly killed, being shot three times after an argument outside a retail store in Hollywood, leaving him in critical condition.
His rap career began back in 2008, where he would release mixtapes.
On 19 February 2016, the indie rapper released his debut album titled ‘King of Memphis’.
Dolph is also known for being featured on O.T Genasis’s 2015 hit song ‘Cut it’.
He was the cousin of the late Chicago rapper Juice WRLD.
Several notable musicians such as LL Cool J, Chance the Rapper, Meg Thee Stallion paid tribute to Dolph via Twitter.
Young Dolph is survived by a daughter and a son.
