His death was announced by the French fashion conglomerate LVMH.

Abloh came into prominence by starting Off White in 2012 in Milan, Italy.
He became rapper Kanye West’s creative director and made history by becoming the first African-American to lead the luxury French brand, Louis Vuitton.
His presence in Louis Vuitton allowed the brand to reach a younger audience, combining streetwear with high fashion.
Many notable figures paid tribute to Abloh, including Kanye West, Drake, Gigi Hadid, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Pharrell.
Abloh is survived by his parents, wife and two children.
